Welcome to the Dojo

    The Base Rules      'The Burning Lotus Dojo' Is open to all walks of life and anyone who wishes to expand and practice their skills, From magic users to weapon wielders to arms and legs, Any form of combat is acceptable, We just ask that you ask your sparring partner for consent and inquire about any injuries that your character may wish or wish not to endure. This is between you and your opponent.We are a SFW venue and wish for it to stay that way- Pleae keep suggestive talk in your private party chat or in tell. That goes for at the market and in the dojo.If someone present at the venue is making you uncomfortable, Please inform anyone with the [OH-RP] tag and we will solve the situation accordingly. The members of OH-RP have full rights to ask you to leave the venue if you are making an uncomfortable environment for others. You will receive one warning and then we will ask you to leave.With that being said- just be kind, communicate, and consensual with your RP peers while at the Burning Lotus, Whether it be in em/say or in private chat.<3- [OH-RP]

    Combat System.      The combat system is run by a /random 20.
First to 3 wins. Rounds start with both people rolling for initiative, The high rolling writing out how they plan to get an attack in. Following their post- Both people roll once more to see if the hit lands. Both rolling another random 20. A high roll from the hitter means it hit! Congrats, Your earned yourself a point! However if your opponet rolls higher. They get a dodge and an attempt at a hit- This occurs back and forth until one is remaining with 3 hits.

The Burning Lotuses owner.A quiet man who oversees the Dojo and offers advice and training per request. He can mostly be found in the kitchen of the bar preparing sushi for his staff and comrades and the patrons. He can also be found overseeing an ongoing fight and making sure the rules are followed.Or the tall Raen can be found floating around the building making sure everything is running smoothly and checking in on others to make sure that their food was well cooked and made.He can be a little hard to approach but once trapped in conversation he can offer some good insight.
If you are looking to join the Dojo and 'Oni Hana' Him or Asa are the people to go too.All he asks is that the Dojo doesn't fall into pieces, He cannot afford another expense. . .

A grumbly Hrothgar who can be seen drifting through the dojo, checking in on people and breaking up disagreements that may occur. He is usually keeping his eye on any strangers that might venture into the dojo. With his demeanor and his size he can be a bit intimidating, but once you get through to his softer side he is more than willing to help or tell a bad 'dad' joke to get someone to crack a smile.
